Elaine Jamieson

 

Elaine began her insurance career in 1980. Elaine soon became an advocate and award - winning producer of Disability Insurance. Throughout her various experiences in the insurance industry acting as an agent, Brokerage Manager andmanaging her agency, she has specialized in Disability Insurance and Income Security insurance products. Through the years as an independent broker Elaine continues to market Disability Insurance for companies that offer products through brokerage.

After 8 years as an agent, Elaine gained a Brokerage Management position with Crown Life. In 1996, she found an opportunity to again demonstrate her expertise and creative sales abilities with Prince & Associates acting as a Brokerage Manager for Edge Benefits for close to 14 years. From 2000 - 2009, was responsible for Eastern Ontario, including Kingston and Ottawa. Elaine continues to be a dedicated proponent of Income Replacement Insurance through her own agency, Concept Brokerage Inc.

Concept Brokerage Inc. mentors and supervises more than 25 independent insurance brokers who market Edge Benefits Inc. products to their clients.

Elaine’s business focuses on solutions for the transportation industry. Working with fleets that contract independent owner/operators paying particular attention to regulatory issues that ensure fleet owners maximize oversight for compliance, while providing the individual owner/operator with insurance coverage to guarantee lifestyle income in the event of unexpected bodily injury or illness.

With the move to Brockville, Ontario;

  • Serves on the Edge Benefits Inc. Agent Advisory Board
  • Is a member of Independent Financial Brokers of Canada
  • Is a member of Brockville Women in Business
  • Member of the executive Leeds & Grenville Federal Liberal Association.

Elaine found time to operate a seasonal Bed and Breakfast with a partner in Iroquois, Ontario from 2001 – 2014.

Elaine’s hobbies include golf, home decorating, gourmet cooking, cycling, and snowshoeing.
